our family in snow

Sunday when we left Mom and Dad's to come home the snow was terrible. The kids asked "what if it's a snow day?" My reply was "it's colorado, we know snow, I can't even remember a snow day in my school days."
But my mind was quickly changed when I shoveled the driveway. It wsa piling up fast. When we woke up Monday morning I knew it was a snowday. I swear it had snowed 5 or 6 feet over night. It was white everywhere. When I opened the door I saw that was only about a foot of snow. It was deep, fluffy and very inticing, even for me. The kids got an early start while I was putting Hyrum down for his nap.
Malory started with this little guy. Who was a great snowman till Ty kicked it down. So then we made some huge snowballs. They were so huge that I couldn't lift one on top of the other. So we made a smaller one for the middle and completed the first snowman. Then the brilliant idea surfaced. Let's build our family. So we did.
