OH NO!

I have TONS of these kind of moments. I am constantly doing stupid things and embrassing myself.

I thought I would share my latest stupid action so here goes.

Monday night we went to dinner at the golf course for Dennis' birthday. Derek and Holly were bringing the girls out to our house. When we got ready to go they weren't there yet so as we left I started to text Derek (who is #9 on my speed dial) to tell him we were leaving. And here is where it starts...

carisa txt: We have just left just go in. Ty and hyrum are sleeping the other are doing

homework.

derek txt: What? I think you have the wrong number.

carisa txt: Ha Ha i have you on speed dial.

derek txt: Ha Ha so do you know me or is that speed dial the wrong number

Now I need to redeem myself here just a little. Derek is often a...tease, pain, etc. So this kind of behavior is just like him.

carisa txt: I know you ya wierdo

derek txt: Who is this that im talking to then?

At this point I am thinking "humm he is going a little far with this" and I look at the number on my speed dial. (I just got a new phone so I switched my numbers) OH NO!! it is the wrong number! Oh .........NUTS! Then end number is 5 not 3. So i a try and make right calling a total stranger wierdo, while Baylen is laughing so hard he can hardly drive!

carisa txt: I am SO SORRY i just checked the number and i do have the wrong number on speed dial. I take the wierdo thing back and hope you can have a laugh about htis bery stupid mistake. have a nice day:)

STRANGER TXT: Hahahahaha thats hilarious. its okay you have a nice day as well

I feel embarassed enough then, Bay suggests that I call and see who it was. Are you kidding me!! At least never have to run into that person again like several other "MOMENTS" I have.

Lessons learned: Look before you text, kick your brother in law ever chance you get just because he is a pest that always teases, and last you have to laugh at yourself. Everyone else will.
